Dr. Tiffany Cerda

Board qualified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Sports Medicine.

Dr. Tiffany Cerda’s family emigrated from the Dominican Republic to New York before settling in West Palm Beach, Florida. Her passion for podiatric medicine began after sustaining a personal ankle injury. Earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University. Went on to complete a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University and later graduated with honors.

Dr. Cerda completed a rigorous three-year surgical residency in Podiatric Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital, in affiliation with Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine. During residency, she received extensive training in minimally invasive surgery (MIS), diabetic limb salvage, reconstructive rearfoot and ankle procedures, trauma and regenerative medicine. She then completed a competitive Sports Medicine Fellowship under the directorship of Dr. James Losito, where she gained valuable experience treating high-performance professional athletes.

Dr. Cerda has provided medical coverage and injury management for athletes from the Miami Heat, Inter Miami CF, and the Miami Pro League, as well as for collegiate athletes across South Florida. She has comprehensive training in both surgical and non-surgical care of the lower extremity.

A frequent presenter and award-winning researcher, Dr. Cerda has had posters and case studies featured at national and state conferences, including ACFAS, AAPSM, and FPMA’s SAM meetings. She published a case report titled “Recurrent Invasive Lobular Mass in an Athletic Female Soccer Player” in the International Journal of the Foot & Ankle Foundation (IFAF). Dr. Cerda plans to continue contributing to innovation in medical research.

She is passionate about giving back. Driven by goal to help every patient return to activities they love. Fluent in both English and Spanish. Committed to providing inclusive, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population.

Active member of AAPSM, ACFAS, FPMA, APMA and AAWP. Dr. Cerda integrates advanced sports science with compassionate care to create individualized recovery plans that prioritize performance, long-term joint health, and safe return-to-activity goals.
