Dr. Parichart Vaikayee
Dr. Vaikayee is a distinguished podiatric surgeon whose path to medicine spans three continents and a lifetime of intellectual curiosity. From her early years in Bangkok to her service on the front lines of military medicine, she brings an exceptional blend of global experience, academic depth, and genuine compassion to every patient encounter. Dual board certified and fellowship-recognized, Dr. Vaikayee is committed to helping patients of all ages return to active, pain-free lives with surgery reserved only when conservative approaches have been exhausted.

Education & History
Dr. Vaikayee was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, and pursued her early education at a boarding school in India before immigrating to the United States. Her academic journey reflects a rare breadth of intellectual interests: she earned degrees in Fine Arts from the Bangkok College of Fine Arts, as well as degrees in Computer Science and Microbiology. A foundation that uniquely informs her analytical and innovative approach to patient care.
She went on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in 2002, followed by a Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. Commissioned as an Active Duty Officer in the U.S. Army, Dr. Vaikayee completed an additional residency year specializing in trauma and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at Fort Bragg, NC.
Her military career is a testament to her dedication and skill. She served as Chief of Podiatry at Winn Army Community Hospital at Fort Stewart, Georgia, earning five military commendations for her service. She also served as a Department of the Army civilian, treating complex trauma and reconstructive cases for wounded service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, one of the busiest U.S. military medical facilities.
Following her honorable service, Dr. Vaikayee founded Pro Active Podiatry in Dallas, Texas, and successfully grew the practice before relocating to serve the Denver, Colorado community for over a decade. Today, she is proud to bring her expertise to the Boynton Beach community as a member of the Certified Foot & Ankle Specialists team at our Boynton Beach Foot Clinic.
Podiatric Expertise
Dr. Vaikayee holds dual board certification in Foot Surgery from both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. A distinction that reflects her mastery across the full spectrum of podiatric surgical care. She is also recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Sports Medicine: Dr. Vaikayee has extensive experience working with athletes and active individuals, developing personalized treatment strategies to address injuries, restore function, and optimize long-term performance.
Advanced Wound Care: Drawing on her military and clinical background, she applies the latest wound care modalities to support healing and help patients. Particularly those with diabetes or vascular conditions to help them avoid more serious complications.
Geriatric Medicine: Dr. Vaikayee is especially attentive to the unique podiatric needs of older patients, focusing on mobility, fall prevention, and quality of life as central goals of care.
She is also a committed advocate for health equity, regularly traveling to provide essential podiatric services to underserved rural communities.on, diabetic limb salvage, and ankle osteoarthritis therapies.
