Dr. Laura Adler
Dr. Adler was born and raised in South Florida. She earned her bachelors degree at Florida State University, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then moved to Philadelphia and attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. She was inducted into two honor societies during her time there and served as the president of the wound care club.
Dr. Adler then completed a rigorous 3-year foot and ankle surgery residency at the Highland’s/Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. She served as chief resident in her final year.
Her training involved exposure to all aspects of foot and ankle surgery and she enjoys treating a wide variety of pathologies, including pediatric and adult forefoot and rearfoot deformities, limb salvage, sports medicine and arthroscopy. Dr. Adler has authored chapters and scientific articles in textbooks and journals in addition to presenting research at national conferences. She has a special interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, lower extremity trauma and cartilage restoration.
Her mission is to provide superior comprehensive foot and ankle care. She believes the best outcomes are achieved when both the patient and physician work as a team. Dr. Adler is dedicated to providing exceptional care for all of her patients, which involves taking several factors into consideration to create a treatment plan. She bases this personalized plan on the patient’s lifestyle, living situation, and long-term goals.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, all outdoor activities and cooking. She is excited to return and serve the South Florida community.
