Dr. Melissa N. Prutch
Dr. Prutch is excited to start a new chapter in life and career with Certified Foot and Ankle Specialists in Brandon, Florida.
Dr. Prutch was born and raise in San Marcos, CA. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University San Marcos, majoring in Biochemistry. She herself sought care for herself from a podiatrist for a left foot bunion correction and neuroma excision, sparking her interest in the field. She earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona CA. Dr. Prutch completed residency in Tampa, Florida at the James A Haley VA, specializing in forefoot and rearfoot surgery, wound care of the foot, and limb salvage techniques.
She moved to Parker, CO after residency where she practiced for a year. When Dr. Prutch is not taking care of her patients, she enjoys bowling, reading, watching horror movies, and finding new restaurants and cocktail lounges with her fiancé and friends.
