Dr. Jason LeVitre
Dr. Jason C. LeVitre, DPM has been in practice for 13 years. He specializes in surgical ankle joint and foot arthroscopy, foot reconstruction, nerve decompression procedures, complex bunion surgery, tendon repair and lengthening, diabetic foot and ankle reconstruction, and a full range of foot and ankle surgeries.
After receiving his undergraduate degree, Dr. LeVitre studied under San Francisco’s top surgeons at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated with his doctorate. He then pursued a three-year comprehensive residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Additionally, Dr. LeVitre received in-depth training with the Ilizarov external fixator, a limb-sparing technique developed to treat complex or open bone fractures.
Dr. LeVitre is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and he is extensively trained in complex foot and ankle procedures. After all conservative options have been exhausted, Dr. LeVitre uses cutting edge technologies to achieve the best surgical outcomes for all his patients.
Dr LeVitre also trained in limb preservation techniques at Madigan Army Medical Centers Specialty Wound Clinic, where he performed surgeries on all types of infected or difficult to heal wounds. He frequently employs skin grafts to hasten the healing process for his patients who qualify for the treatment.
